Oh my gosh.. i just couldn't believe what just happened this afternoon. Am I still dreaming?? Okok.. I'll stop beating about the bush and just tell what happened today. I finished my lunch rather early cause we had an early break. As usual, next stop after the SA cafeteria would be tiscra (computer lab). First website that i normally enter would be facebook. But don't know why my instinct told me to log in to my uni email to check out my emails first. So i did follow my instinct.
I scroll down one by one but mostly were just classifield from the Student Association. Suddenly, there's one which caught my eye. The subject was JPA offer letter from the Sponsorship Unit. At that instance, i really thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. My JPA application was finally approved!!! I applied last year but i was rejected cause i send in my application kinda late (about 6 months after the closing date =p). It's not entirely my fault... i didnt know JPA offer this kind of scholarships to students until the sponsorship unit of the Uni told me about it.
During the summer holidays, i emailed the person from JPA who is in-charged of this scholarship asking about the availability of the scholarship this year cause i couldn't find any info about it in the official website. But he took like ages to reply me. N my mum keeps nagging me everyday asking me whether have i send in my application??? When is the closing date??? Argh.. at last i got a bit fed up and decided to just send in my application. They didn't send any letter or what so ever informing that they received my application/rejected me. That was in june.
After months and months of waiting, finally there is a reply. Actually, i totally forgotten about it until i received the email this afternoon. Who would know what happen to my application since they did not notify me for the past few months??? Anyway, i'm glad that i got it. =) They don just pay for the tuition fees but also monthly allowance. Now i need not worry about my living expenses in UK for the next 2 years would be a burden to my parents ^^ Now i can travel around Europe without worrying bout this and that. Hehehe =p
This should be the best gift i would receive for my coming birthday!!! Thank you~~~
P/s: Thanks alot mummy for the nagging... haha.
Lastly, i got this fortune cookie just yesterday night after dinner in Parkroyal. Believe it or not??

Mooncake Festival in Kuantan
Yep yep... This year was a bit more extraordinary. I didn't get to celebrate mooncake festival with my family. But instead with my group of best friends from uni and what makes it even special??? We celebrated in Kuantan. ^^ We were suppose to go there for a pharmacy quiz competition and we lost. Not because we didn't prepare for it.. We're just 2nd year students (for a week) and all the other teams consists of 4th year students. How to compete??? Ended up this trip looks more like a holiday trip and we were having so much fun =p. We went shopping in Berjaya Megamall and East Coast Mall where Hanny, Novell, Jaclyn and I bought the same type of comfy pants but each with different colour. In the evening, we hanged out at the beach (Teluk Cempedak), jumping and shouting our lungs out like some 'jakun' who haven't been to a beach before. Haha. We had western food, rojak, keropok lekor, ABC and coconut by the beach for dinner. Back in our hotel room, we had our loveliest mini mooncake. The mooncakes were awesomely nice, not too sweet.
