Redang Paradise

Redang Island. Everything's extra clear here. Beautiful is absolutely an understatement. Clear blue sky and the different tones of the clear greenish blue sea luring me to jump into it without a second thought. Once I touched down on the sand I can feel it as soft as silk where I wouldn't mind staying there for the rest of my life. True enough, the thought only lasted for few hours. Do not forget, the extra clear blue sky is often accompanied by the extra hot fireball. After the 3 days 2 nights, i love my home sweet home instead, hidden from the sun. Plus i'm a city gal. Can't live without entertainment. Bleuk =p

*Sorry ya, its not that i don like you sunny, i really would love to provided you don't turn me into a walking charcoal*

View from the ferry

Loving the bay breeze

So cute isn't she??? Maturity way too far from you.

Anticipating the beach

Waited for 2 months plus and can't believe that we're
finally here!!!

Our resort, Redang Beach. Waiting for the queue
to check in.

The pathway to our room~~~~

Morning and afternoon are always snorkeling sessions. Every snorkel place was so well-conserved. I personally love to see the fishes swimming around me but too many of it makes me runaway from them. Novell knows this and she kept throwing bread crumbs to my side =.= Made me panic again.

Feeding the fishes with bread crumbs

Isn't this place magnificent??? This place is full of nemo.
Guess what, we didn't manage to grab a single picture of
nemo because our dear photographer, the slave had no idea
how nemo looks like. The blue one??? Gosh, LSH!!!!
LC got hold of two sea cucumbers happily showing us and
nearly injured herself near the rocky areas. Sorry din mean to
make you lose your treasure =p I'm thinking of that girl
who shouted as if there's shark around her and when i look into
the water, it was only slippery rocks beneath. You know who
you are. Don wanna spoil your image further =p

Spot this old grandpa with his straw hat. He's even
stronger than us youngsters. We swam with four, he swam
only with 2 legs, his hands were too busy holding his hat.

The peacefulness underwater

Look at the fishes

And the corals.... Lovelyyyyy

What we're holding there??? Basketball?? Obviously no,
it's a starfish. Felt like stealing it back home =p

Khye, the guy we always hold on to whenever we're tired.
We still complained of being tired even though he's the only
one swimming.

Off for snorkeling or back from it?? IDK. Our hair are
messy all the time.

Tea time. Start munching the snacks.

Back from snorkeling. The moment we all enjoyed most.

Love sitting down quietly like this. Listening to the sound
of the waves, thinking of some happy and emo stuff.

I wished i had my long hair back. To cover my dual
colour burned back =s

Walking by the beach, leaving trails behind. Feel the
breeze touching every inch of our face.

A broken heart awaiting to be mend

Bimbo looking Redang pirates at the Momocha

Beach jump againnnn. This time with our initials. Fast shot
before the water washed it away again.

Bimbos are forever bimbos. Tak insaf betul.

Randalamo?? So sorry guys for the spelling error.
I'll never repeat that mistake again *blink blink*

Exhausted after snorkeling. Four whales with burned
backs lying on shore.

Ya, that's me in the water. The victim. Two throws into the
water for losing the game =( Unfair!!! Not everyone was in the
game and they get to throw me. Hmphhh =p

Missing the time we spent together

Standing on the extremely hot sand and it's
really burning our feet.

18-SX. My revenge time.Poor the slave. Everyone was
laughing at what we did to him but bet he love it. Wahaha.

Flying Hanny's 5 year old kite. An applause for
Novell who flew the kite high up into the sky.

A turtle i'm holding there. Real one, not a toy.

Closer shot of it. Isn't it cute??? I wanna sneak one back
home!!!

We're trying to act out the witch look but looks
like the potential is not in us.

Went for a stroll after the BBQ dinner

Laguna at night. Just outside this hotel, there's this spot
at the corner where the blue fluorescent sand were found.
Nice. Should see how fascinated Novell, Kai Yee and Shi
Hao were when they saw that. I was fascinated too but maybe
not so much.

Attention!!!!! Ak-a, this ain't sunrise. Ya, u're right.
Believe it or not, it's a moon rise. We watched it rise inch
by inch from the surface of the sea and words can't describe
the beauty of it.

Starry starry night. Lying down on the soft silky sand
gazing upon the stars has always been my dream. I saw 6 shooting
stars too. Make a wish?? Of coz i did. One wish for one star. ^^
Under the stars, we had sort of a 'heart-to heart' talk. I was surprised
that they knew more things than i expected. After so long, that incident
is still bothering me. If by chance, i was given an opportunity to
turn back time, i would never want this to happen. I wished i had the
dagger from the Prince of Persia. Okok, stop this emo thing and back
to redang please???

The sky is expressing it's love to us. Spot the heart shape
cloud???

No where to go at night. We're at our perfect spot
again. Its too dark at night and so few guys nearly tripped
on us =.=

Sitting on the hammock

I don want my bed for now. I want this hammock!! =(

A group pic before we leave. I miss this place so much =)

We reluctantly left the place. Sob sob ='(

Everyone was practically dead on the way back. I'll
definitely miss this trip.

Had freaking bad gastric once i got back to KL and i'm officially sick after the non-stop islands hopping. Fever and sore throat. After the lok lok with the 'makan' gang last week, i cant even talk and had super bad cough. Thanks to the chili sauce =s

Hope i'll recover soon XOXO ^.^

The Pearl of the Orient

Whoosh Whoosh. Here am i in this state which i haven't been there since i was 6 or younger. It was totally a last minute plan. Thursday we discuss, monday we left. Phewww, what a rush. Sometimes, last minute plans may turn out even better than trips that are planned long time ahead cause in the end, some will either ffk or have date problems. Not date as in 'pak toh' ya, i mean 'tarikh'. Remember Qian and Ying about our taiwan trip last year? That was even last minute. No one can beat us on that i think =p

The day started off when Shi Hao and the rest came to pick me and Chia yin up. Headed off to the bus station to get our Redang bus tickets. My first time getting the tickets myself, too many to choose from. So much to consider. Most of the time i would be the one waiting to just hop on the bus =p I dropped dead halfway through the journey of course. I'm well known for being that cute piglet. *blek* After 5 hours of long journey, we finally landed on this very first island.

Penang, a place with lots of history to be told.

Eat and eat and eat. Its all about food. Anyone who's interested in all the food pics that we've taken throughout the entire trip, can always refer to Novelley's blog. There she has a complete compilation of all the food pics together with the place and price.

~Day 1~

Thai food for dinner. Small little hut we're dining in.

Autocity. Kinda like a chill out place.

Treasurer of the trip, Miss Novelley =)

I can skip other food but definitely not this super duper
yummylicious char kuey teow. Even hanny who's having
a bad sore throat cant stop eating it. Honestly, im not a fan
of char kuey teow, but this is the best i ever had maybe
because they use duck eggs.

~Day 2~

On the ferry heading to Langkawi. We nearly hop off the
wrong island =s

Langkawi!!!!! The 2nd island =) Rented a wira and
started touring around the island

Underwater World. We got cheaper tickets buying from
the ferry terminal ^.^ Outside here, we walked like crazy
under the big hot sun looking for parios for our upcoming
redang trip.

The beauty pinky flamingo

Penguins. Suicide place for Yinny. Hit her head on
the board behind. Loud bang.

Penguins shivering down the south pole

The caption behind tells u where we are. Got cheaper
tickets too from the ferry terminal, so guys, remember to
buy there next time.

Hanging up high in the sky. 705m above sea level.
And we just realised Yinny is afraid of height. She was
grabbing hold of my hand so tightly that i don even
dare to pick up my phone call.

At this very spot, we shouted our lungs out and there
is this ang mo looking at us like we're mad or smtg. Malunya ~.~

Black Sand Beach. Lucky this sampan to have us around
it so that it doesnt look sad and lonely.

Captain =)

Trying so hard to pull the sampan back.
Anyone help???

The 4 Bimbos

The emo me again =(

The view from our hotel. Big room and big toilet with a super
cheap price. Never say u've been to Langkawi if u didnt get any
liquor or chocs there. We bought a bottle of ice wine and some
Heineken but before finishing, all 5 of us collapsed.

~Day 3~

Makam Mahsuri. Why do we always like to pose
emo-ly?? Hmm, i wonder.

The husbany and the wifey. Why does it look more like
chinese style? I thought we're in a malay house =.='''

Attempting to commit suicide in this small well.
Can 4 of us even fit in it???

We see eagle, we pose like an eagle. Swt but i like =p
Bye Langkawiiiii. Took the ferry back to penang again and
shi hao met his secret admirer here. nyek nyek nyek.

Walking by the Batu Feringgi beach. So relaxing. I like.

Beach jumpppppppp.

Drove to Kulim for ikan bakar for supper and on the way, Miss Hanny was wondering how to be considered as mature. And she concluded herself that Silence is Mature. OMG.

~Day 4~

A new day begins with some yam rice, hokkien mee and Durian =)

Kek Lok Si. First time seeing such big temple.
Bimbos with umbrella under the big hot fire ball.
Bet u don wanna come here right at this time.

Trying to reach up to the highest branch.

Pluck that and RM 200 fly straight out
of your purse =.=

Seafood lunch in Tanjung Tokong. Had prawns, lala and crabbie.
I'm big enough to handle the prawns on my own now, daddy. =)

Another good old ancient looking buliding
for us to capture some good pics.

I'm jealous. Why arent's there any nice beach like these near KL
so that we can go emo there anytime we want?

QE II plan ruined cause someone was having
some function there and the entire place was
reserved. Took the ferry back to Mainland and here's
where Miss Hanny create some laughing moments for us
again. She nearly entered a male toilet thinking that
there's no one inside. Once i turn my head, saw 2 guys
laughing at us which i hope is only 2 and not more
than that. Malu again. @.@

Went back to Bek Gong Jek for dinner and this is when Yinny start to merajuk cause her apong stall is closed. So cute.
~Day 5~

Kick-start with some dim sum. Headed to St. Anne's Church.

Such a big church. They're trying to imitate
the pic that i took with my sis in Macau.

You're right, Novell. Hanny must have been
to the wrong place. Are you wondering what i'm wondering????
I'm wondering what is Yinny praying to.

Had Nasi Kandar for lunch and headed back to KL. Another 5 hours journey and you know what will i be doing in the car. Hehe.

Lucky us to have a Penang-ian along. Credits to Shi Hao for bringing us around and feeding us like pigs. Will definitely miss the food there, the night when we would watch 'bao qing tian' together waiting for our turns to shower and i'm already missing the other 3 bimbos. =(

Up next: Redang Paradise =D
