The Pearl of the Orient

Whoosh Whoosh. Here am i in this state which i haven't been there since i was 6 or younger. It was totally a last minute plan. Thursday we discuss, monday we left. Phewww, what a rush. Sometimes, last minute plans may turn out even better than trips that are planned long time ahead cause in the end, some will either ffk or have date problems. Not date as in 'pak toh' ya, i mean 'tarikh'. Remember Qian and Ying about our taiwan trip last year? That was even last minute. No one can beat us on that i think =p

The day started off when Shi Hao and the rest came to pick me and Chia yin up. Headed off to the bus station to get our Redang bus tickets. My first time getting the tickets myself, too many to choose from. So much to consider. Most of the time i would be the one waiting to just hop on the bus =p I dropped dead halfway through the journey of course. I'm well known for being that cute piglet. *blek* After 5 hours of long journey, we finally landed on this very first island.

Penang, a place with lots of history to be told.

Eat and eat and eat. Its all about food. Anyone who's interested in all the food pics that we've taken throughout the entire trip, can always refer to Novelley's blog. There she has a complete compilation of all the food pics together with the place and price.

~Day 1~

Thai food for dinner. Small little hut we're dining in.

I can skip other food but definitely not this super duper
yummylicious char kuey teow. Even hanny who's having
a bad sore throat cant stop eating it. Honestly, im not a fan
of char kuey teow, but this is the best i ever had maybe
because they use duck eggs.

~Day 2~

On the ferry heading to Langkawi. We nearly hop off the
wrong island =s


Langkawi!!!!! The 2nd island =) Rented a wira and
started touring around the island


Underwater World. We got cheaper tickets buying from
the ferry terminal ^.^ Outside here, we walked like crazy
under the big hot sun looking for parios for our upcoming
redang trip.

And we just realised Yinny is afraid of height. She was
grabbing hold of my hand so tightly that i don even
dare to pick up my phone call.


At this very spot, we shouted our lungs out and there
is this ang mo looking at us like we're mad or smtg. Malunya ~.~

it so that it doesnt look sad and lonely.

The 4 Bimbos


The emo me again =(


The view from our hotel. Big room and big toilet with a super
cheap price. Never say u've been to Langkawi if u didnt get any
liquor or chocs there. We bought a bottle of ice wine and some
Heineken but before finishing, all 5 of us collapsed.

~Day 3~

Makam Mahsuri. Why do we always like to pose
emo-ly?? Hmm, i wonder.

Bye Langkawiiiii. Took the ferry back to penang again and
shi hao met his secret admirer here. nyek nyek nyek.


Walking by the Batu Feringgi beach. So relaxing. I like.


Beach jumpppppppp.

Drove to Kulim for ikan bakar for supper and on the way, Miss Hanny was wondering how to be considered as mature. And she concluded herself that Silence is Mature. OMG.

~Day 4~

A new day begins with some yam rice, hokkien mee and Durian =)

QE II plan ruined cause someone was having
some function there and the entire place was
reserved. Took the ferry back to Mainland and here's
where Miss Hanny create some laughing moments for us
again. She nearly entered a male toilet thinking that
there's no one inside. Once i turn my head, saw 2 guys
laughing at us which i hope is only 2 and not more
than that. Malu again. @.@

Went back to Bek Gong Jek for dinner and this is when Yinny start to merajuk cause her apong stall is closed. So cute.

~Day 5~

Kick-start with some dim sum. Headed to St. Anne's Church.

the pic that i took with my sis in Macau.

to the wrong place. Are you wondering what i'm wondering????
I'm wondering what is Yinny praying to.

Had Nasi Kandar for lunch and headed back to KL. Another 5 hours journey and you know what will i be doing in the car. Hehe.

Lucky us to have a Penang-ian along. Credits to Shi Hao for bringing us around and feeding us like pigs. Will definitely miss the food there, the night when we would watch 'bao qing tian' together waiting for our turns to shower and i'm already missing the other 3 bimbos. =(

Islands

I'm half a roasted piglet now!!! Just got back from Penang and Langkawi yesterday. Love the beach, love the food and most importantly, love the company =) Will be leaving to redang tonight and await the full roasted piglet to be back by next week. Lots and lots of sunblock and hope my SPF50 is sufficient protecting me from the evil sun =( Cant take the risk to be tanner than this now.

Update more when i get back ^.^ Have to start packing again. Sigh.

Summer's Here Once Again

Hey guys, i'm finally back to my abandoned blog. Been MIA for the past 3 weeks. Studying like a nerd in my dungeon. The good news is..............I'm finally out from the dungeon!!! Summer smells awesomely good =D

So i'll first start off with what i think of those papers. 3 papers this sem. Good girl started the revision one month earlier and it really really helped. Still quite last minute but at least abit better than those previous exams. *So proud of myself that i finally turn my words into action* Hence, i think this is why this month did not turn out to be the crying season. I'm so so surprised that i did not teared like the pouring rain throughout this horrible study break. One or two drops of course got la. Especially for the biopharm paper. Just finish memorizing, close the book, tried to recite and god knows where all the infos that i just memorized went. Phys pharm and medicinal chem was do-able. Phewww =)

Finally some civilisation after my last paper. Midvalley with Hanny, Novell, Shi Hao, Yinny and Sue Wen. Had pasta zanmai and IP Man 2. IP Man 2 was awesome although i didn't watch the first so got a bit confused at the beginning. Thought of streaming IP Man once i get home, but too bad PPS just don't love me back. All the tauge words and not even a single line can be read. So, Vampire Diaries is the new love now =)

The following part is dedicated specially for Novell as she's still blur about Blur Egg's pineapple story. Just before the movie, Hanny and I decided to get some pineapples so I was wondering if Juice Works has it since we're just steps away from it. But i thought the answer would be no thou cause they only sell juices and not fruits duh. Out of a sudden, Hanny just raced to the counter and started asking for pineapple cubes and i ended bursting out into laughter. I was wrong, they do sell pineapples and she ordered two. Went to the cashier and the guy murmured something that i thought i had hallucinations. "RM 14.60 please?" What???? RM 14.60 for 2 pineapples??? Was it imported from somewhere?? Both of us were left shocked but still had to pay since we've ordered it. That's the most expensive pineapple i've ever had in my entire life and i would never want it again. Super tasteless lo that pineapple. But still i have to thank her for that pineapple if not....... novell, you know why we were so desperate for pineapples. Haha. So RM 7.30 for that pineapple was totally worth it =)

Went to MV again the next day with Annie, Ann, Cheng and Jian. Chinoz for dinner together and both the guys had to rush for church. So the girls drove all the way to Serdang to get some stuff from Ann's uncle. Fell asleep in the car as i was super tired. Been like an owl throughout the entire exam period and the same thing still goes on after exam. Thanks to vampires diaries for making me not able to sleep. One episode after another and i cant seem to stop ~.~ Meet up with the guys again in SS2 later for desserts. This newly opened tong sui shop near SS2 KTZ. Lots of variety. Ann was confused after looking at the menu and decided to just follow what Cheng ordered.

To start off this summer, i'll be going to Penang and Langkawi next week. Have to start packing again now. =( I just got back from Semenyih yesterday and unpacked for almost 2 hours and now gotta pack again. Miserable. Have lots of fun everyone this summer and will update again when i'm back.

Oink Oink

2nd of May. Here am i in this place full of piggys.......... Elcerdo. For my daddy's bday celebration which to be exact is on the 4th of May. But as usual, celebrations are always on the weekends and cakes are only on the real day. As ribs is his love so i decided to opt for this place. Finally i have a chance to step out of my crib without guilt and not being buried in books. Forgot to place a reservation earlier and ended up sitting near the entrance which daddy hates to. Sorry daddy. Sista and I gonna chia you eat tonight k??? We're gonna chia you eat everything that's below =)
