What should I do for the summer if I don get a placement here??? 4 months is definitely a long time. One third of a year. Wow. At first I was given only two options. Either to go back or stay put. But now, more options are available and I'm so indecisive.
#1 Stay put here and not go back for the entire summer. Either travel around or get a part-time job here just to kill time.
#2 Travel around Europe and fly back to Malaysia for the last 2 months. For the sake of Malaysian food.
#3 Fly back to Msia first then travel around asia. Have a few places in mind now. Shenzhen, Guangzhou, HongKong and Macau. I'm such a fan of HK and Macau. And it's again for the sake of the food.
#4 Travel to US instead of flying back to Msia since air tix to US from UK is rather cheap. But my visa just expired this year!!! CRAP.
I just wished my parents could decide for me. Then i wouldn't need to do this head-cracking decision. Oh my...... It's causing me a headache again =(

Really Eating Me Up Inside
Something must have gone wrong with me tonight.
Feeling dizzy after half glass of Malibu.
Getting half drunk isn't really helping.
From keeping me away from the nonsense thoughts.
I should be drunk.
100%.
Perhaps.

Just Like Any Other Day
14th February. Ya, we all know it's Valentine's Day. But to me, it's just like any other ordinary days. For a very simple reason. That person. Which is not here and will never be.
Yet, there's this something that enlightens my gloomy day.

Valentine's gift from my dear Lamo =)

And another from my dear eggy =)
*Sorry for the emo post again*
p/s: I wished I'm busy with more classes and work so that I wouldn't have to pause and have the time to think. I can always smile and laugh in front of people, but i can never fake those smiles or force myself to laugh whenever I'm alone. The pain is too deep within that no other can feel except for myself.

Time To Ring In Another Chinese New Year
Well, since CNY is already coming to an end in just another few days time, therefore I have to abandon my Xmas and New Year post and priorities this first *sorry sorry, been quite busy with classes recently due to the crazy timetable*
This CNY is again like no other CNY i had before. No more celebrations with my family and relatives but purely just friends. But at least i still get to eat those CNY biscuits sent over by my parents =D
So, how we bid goodbye to the tiger year and ushered into the rabbit year???
2/2/2011
By having STEAMBOAT!!!!
Guess which is the ultimate hot selling one???
Had two types of soup base and my favourite is
this. Spicy Tom Yam!!!
Steamed yam and sweet potatoes for
Bo bo Cha cha
Finally....... not bad but still lack of something.
Perhaps, the taste of 'home'.
Dessert for the night: Mars Bar with cereals.
Ultra nice and sinful =(
The happy 'family' =)
3/3/2011
By going for the BUFFET dinner organised by NMS!!!!
Surprise for everyone. Green Lion
instead of a red/orange one.
Ang Mo in action
The Rabbits =)

Stockholm, Sweden
When everyone's thinking of fleeing to warmer countries such as Portugal and Spain, I'm right here at this beyond subzero temperature Stockholm.

Valkomnande till Sverige!!!!

Aren't the view in Stockholm breathtaking??? The beauty of it.

Some pepparkakor and mulled wine provided
by the hostel upon our arrival. Super super nice!!!!
Hence, all of us got ourselves a box of it as souvenirs.
We were too hungry and practically, not practically,
finished the entire basket. And it was not seen again
for the next few days. Guess the receptionist was so
afraid that we would finish their supply.

Dinner time!!! Swedish food are yummylicious but at the
same time so pricey. You will at least need to spend a
minimum of 12gbp for each meal. So don't go to restaurants
if you have a tight budget. Swedish meatballs are heaven =)

I'm finally here at the original IceBar in Stockholm.
Definitely a once in a lifetime experience although
the place was so much smaller than what i expected.

Choice of your absolut vodka shots~~~~

My lucky shot. Absolut Archipelago ^^

Group shot before we left.

Yeo and Cynthia*

Another round of Christmas Market

The Musical Instrument Musuem. The place we had the
most fun at night. Just like those small little kids.

Went searching for this Swedish restaurant that
some guy recommended but failed. Simply too
cold to continue looking and in the end, we settled
with this. Some middle east food which tasted
delicious too.

Look at the portion of the middle east
food. Too small to even fill half of my
stomach. Hence, MAX burger time!!!!
Cheapest fast food you can get in
the entire city. Only 15 korna for one
burger. Definitely smaller than McD's
cheeseburger but the patty was
uncomparable. So tender yet so juicy.

Forgotten what's the name. Skyview if
i'm not mistaken. Went there at the wrong
time and it was closed. Tried our luck
again the next day and here we go!!!!

The view from the globe

It's Us again in the globe =)

Fried Herring with Bread. Such an amazing combi.

Morning market or we called it as; 'Fut Tai' Market. Haha.
Everything there was only for viewing purposes. Cause it's
simply too exp!!! A creme brulee that i wanted to try cost me
70 korna. That's like RM RM40 for one small little dessert.

On the way to the Vasa Museum

Here we are at the Vasa Museum. Ya, your eyes wasn't playing
tricks on you. It's a ship. A huge huge one.

Glass Factory

Christmas Carol. Out of so many songs they sang,
i only knew one. Santa Lucia. Which is stucked in
my head throughout the entire study break =x

Our last dinner in Slinger Bulten again!!!

Gamla Stan. The most frequent railway
station we stopped in.

Credits to Kelvin for the stunning
pictures!!!
Stay tune for more. Up next, Christmas in London and New Year in Birmingham ^.^

Weekend in Birmingham
Sorry for the late post. This is suppose to be up before Christmas but because the author of the blog here is too busy with studies and travelling =p Hence, sekarang baru post. At first i thought of skipping it, but cause it's my first time here in Birmingham and to the German Market. So u guys are lucky to get to read about it =D The main highlight; we were there for Shi Hao's 21st Birthday!!! Therefore, still decided to do it =) As usual, let the pics do the talking.

On the train early in the morning

Lunch in Chinatown. Long time missed bittergourd <3

My buddy, Thiam Hock brought us ard
his Uni. University of Birmingham.

Dinner in Chung Ying. I'm so sick of chinese
food now ~.~

Morning shopping in Bullring

Lunch in Malaysian Delight. Had the
not-so-nice Hokkien Mee. But still enough
to cure the cravings.

My buddy from Birmingham. Say hi to
our 4 years of friendship. It's not very long
but it's smtg i appreciate alot. He's always the
one that brings most laughter to the people
around him. Hence, you see me laughing
like a mad girl whenever he's beside me =D

Happy 21st Birthday Shi Hao. Thanks for being the
only guy in our gang. For doing all the work for us.
Hehe. Appreciate it lots. Know you like the present
from us...... cause we have good taste =p

My first visit to the Birmingham's German Market
aka the Christmas Market with awesome deco
and snacks.

Awesome possum German Sausages with Ketchup
and Mustard. Potato Pancakes on TH's hand. And
flavoured mulled wine which was super addictive.

Last group pic before we went back to TH's cozy
house

Japanese buffet in Shogun, Mailbox. Super worth
it for people who has a big stomach for sushi like me.

3 days 2 nights getaway finally ended.
And we end up stranded in Chesterfield
due to overtime shopping in Bullring =.=
Super chaotic moment =x

Shopaholic who doesn't wanna go
home >.<
Up next: My winter getaway in the Capital of Scandinavia, Stockholm =)
